Further Consultation into Frome Education Structures

Following the recent consultation that took place regarding a potential move from a three-tier to two-tier arrangement for Frome area schools, there was strong support from stakeholders in favour of finding out more about what change might look like in a two-tier system.

As a result, the group of Multi-Academy Trusts and Somerset Local Authority have formulated a more detailed proposal about the education landscape if a two-tier system was adopted, which includes detail about what would happen to each individual school should the community agree to progress further.

A second consultation will open on Monday 1st June at 3pm.  Please follow the link below to access the consultation document and to submit your views.

There will be some public events taking place on the 9th and 17th June, where representatives from all Trusts, the Local Authority and schools will be present to answer any questions you might have.  Details about these meetings are included within the consultation document.
